Thank you for your interest in Sigmas Conference and Event Center! Please allow me to take a moment to describe the evolution of this facility:
Over seven years ago, I started a consulting firm, Hexagon Solutions and Beyond, Inc. (www.hexsab.com) that assists companies to improve their processes through the use of the "Six Sigma" methodology. I teach companies how to use this Six Sigma methodology effectively so that they can benefit from cost savings, increased profits, improved customer satisfaction and ultimately, bottom line results. I would conduct these training sessions at multiple venues, ranging from hotels, conference centers and even on-site at the customer location, and became increasingly frustrated with the lack of customer service, inadequate technology for leading an effective training, unnecessary disruptions, etc. at the different venues which prompted me to want to create my own training center.
Hence, the decision to purchase a building to host my training sessions came in October of 2006, and as I began searching for the "perfect building," my vision continued to grow to designing not only a training center for HexSAB, but a venue that could host a variety of first-class corporate and social events. At last, I found this location in January, 2007, and made the purchase in March, 2007. Thus, the remainder of 2007 was spent transforming this office building (which used to be a mortgage company and prior to that a Chinese restaurant!) into the unique and innovative "Sigmas Conference and Event Center."
